杏子「メシをおごってくれるって？」/ Kyouko "You treat me?"

   こういうたくさんの色を使う絵は苦手だ。どうしても仕上がりが下品になってしまう。今回も今月に計画している水彩漫画のための習作である。

 I'm not good at paintings with many colors like this one. Every color conflicts each other, and the painting lacks "sophistication". 

   彩度が高すぎるのだろうか？高い彩度と低い彩度の使い分けが重要に思える。色調の統一も大切だ。どうも色に固執するしているきらいがある。例えば緑色とは緑色の絵の具からひねり出されるからではなく周囲の色との関係で緑とみなされるべきなのだ。すべての色は周囲との比較の結果、何色と決定されるのだ。ヨーロッパの漫画を見習いたい。

 Because of too high saturation? It may possible. I want to paint wisely with low and high saturation. "Decorum" coloration is key too. I must remember all colors are determined their colors not by their color names but by other colors around them. It means "green" may turn into blue or black in some situations. I believe full color comics in Europe help me. 

ジョーンブリヤンNo.1が万能過ぎて辛い。おもにビビッドすぎる色を抑えるのに大活躍している。

 Jaune Brillant No.1 is genius. It is great to suppress saturation of too vivid color.
