Summer

F4 water color work drawn by wet-on-wet technique. I painted this in several steps. There are things you should care. When you put water on paper, you should avoid area where you want draw in detail. In this case, you bring water from 'pool'.
In large water area, you may find some area get dry too quickly. To avoid this, you separate large area into several one or supply more water. Be careful, too much supplied water may invade area where you painted.

The area where is spotted or is back of light may be blurred.

  1. I have never used watercolors in my life. Wondering, how much do they cost? And where did you get yours? Local stores?

Your works are so impressive! And, by the way, how nice of you to alternate Japanese and English~! Thanks for that!

  2. You can get watercolor sets at your local art shop, I guess(Don't confuse watercolor with Gouache. They are different). They are not as cheap as pencils are. What you should consider is not pigments nor brushes (of course, they are important too), but what papers you paint on. You should get papers for watercolor. You may get some books to learn watercolors too.

  3. A different input. I love it, shows more about the work itself. The advice given. Greetings :D
